For those of you following my work you will know I have been devising a therapeutic theatre company with Bounce (Who are a creative therapeutic company) to go into dementia care homes to support people to connect to the world around them and have fun. The exciting news is we now have a name! GREY ELEPHANT THEATRE COMPANY. We have just handed in our first funding proposal so fingers crossed we will get funding to perform therapeutically for people with dementia. Individual Dramatherapy slots are available on Monday evenings. If you feel like you want to make a change, increase your confidence and self esteem or work through personal issues why not try a taster session to see if Dramatherapy is right for you. I continue to work with Essex Dementia Care on a monthly group Imagination Station for those with Dementia - this group is lots of fun and supports people to remain active and social by using dramatherapy, drama, movement and storytelling.
